The shares price index closed at (3565.81) point, an increase of (0.58%) The shares of (120) companies were traded, the shares prices of (51) companies rose, and the shares prices of (35) declined.

At the sector level, the Services index increased by 2.19%, the Industrial index increased by 0.14%, and the Financial index increased by 0.05%.

As for sub sector indices, the Utilities and Energy, Chemical Industries, Health Care Services, Transportation, Electrical Industries, Pharmaceutical and Medical Industries, Diversified Financial Services, Real Estate, Banks, Commercial Services, Mining and Extraction Industries sectors increased by 3.50%, 2.06%, 1.76%, 0.96%, 0.80%, 0.79%, 0.61%, 0.24%, 0.02%, 0.02%, 0.02% respectively.

While the Textiles, Leathers and Clothings, Educational Services, Insurance, Engineering and Construction, Food and Beverages sectors decreased by 1.72%, 0.29%, 0.11%, 0.07%, 0.03% respectively.

The top five gainers were, the Jordanian Mutual Funds Management Company by (25.00%), Union Investment Corporation by (8.33%), Salam Internationl Transport & Trading by (7.14%), Arab Banking Corporation /(jordan) by (6.67%), and Jordan Electric Power by (6.52%).
